Help Rotary win miles!

From Wasrag, The Water & Sanitation Rotarian Action Group

Vote For Rotary International: Charity Miles Free!

A simple, free and fast way to provide significant support to Rotary International. By voting you can help Rotary win up to 10 million United Airlines travel miles.  It won’t cost you a penny – and the miles will be used to help numerous Rotary projects.

You can vote every day up to December 25th and track RI’s progress.

Stop the press!  As we pressed the send button on this email, Rotary was running a close second – only 600 miles behind the Shriners!

Invite your friends!   Charity Miles

Please vote today and every day until Dec. 25.  These charity miles are important to digging the wells in Oltorotua and carrying out other projects around the world. Children needing heart surgery have been treated in U.S. hospitals when locally they could not receive the treatment.  Local doctors come here for training.  Teams travel to Haiti and El Salvador.

Although the Rotary team that visited Oltorotua last year did not have the advantage of charity miles, I can tell you, from personal experience, that our water and sanitation project would not be so far along as we are if Steve King (who paid his own way), Frank Faust, and Steve Brown had not been able to visit the village, meet villagers and Nakuru Rotarians, and talk with Dan Odero, our hydrogeologist.  (Dare I even hope that these miles will send them back to Oltorotua as the project moves into action!)
