I have known Nicholas Sironka for several years. His batik wall hangings are gorgeous. In 2008 his Maasai dance troupe, which no longer exists, danced at our church. We had a great turnout to see them and picking them up at the airport and serving dinner was great fun, and also rather complicated, since it was the inaugural weekend for Barack Obama and the entire DC/MD area was crazy.
Sironka is a great guy, one of those who celebrates his love of the world thru art and dancing, and certainly by working with children, as the video shows. Thanks to Bunny Heller for leading me to this video and to South Hill KXLY, Spokane, Washington, for producing it: A big man from a foreign land is delivering something medicine can’t at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.
