The Danger of Unclean Water

Steve King is re-working the grant proposal to send it ASAP to The Rotary Foundation.  He asked Jackson about villagers dying from unclean water.  Here is Jackson’s reply:

It is very clear that most people in the village(adults and children) suffer from Typhoid, Amoeba infections and Malaria. This is an indication that most people don’t access clean water. People get treatment at affordable rate in local clinics which reduces infant deaths.
Deaths are not very common but still, getting sick is a major health threat.

Somehow, I think contacting any of those diseases would make me feel like I’m dying.  Or be sick enough to wish I were!

Friendly reminder:  Only $37.97 to change a person’s life…for life.
