WASRAG—Water & Sanitation Rotarian Action Group

I love each monthly issue of WASRAG, a.k.a. Start with Water. This e-newsletter is available to anyone, including non-Rotarians like me. It has a lot of great ideas and information about wells, water, and sanitation in general. Not preachy, just good readable information. Click Sign up for our Email Newsletter but, if this link doesn’t work for you, go to their website and, crazy as this sounds, scroll down to sign up.

Darn! I missed Oct. 15, which was Global Handwashing Day. I hope you’ve washed your hands a number of times in the last three days but, even so, you’ll find useful posters, videos, and ideas if you have responsibility for training children or adults with the basics of keeping those mitts germ-free.

I promise to be on top of World Toilet Day (really bad pun) on November 19 and will post about it in a few days. After all: World Toilet Day, created in 2001, is now recognized by the UN. I won’t be asking any of my Rotarian friends or relatives (Jerry & Betty, that’s you), to demonstrate in public, as in this WASRAG photo, but I will post some other facts and ideas. In the meantime, sign up for your own copy of the WASRAG newsletter. Who can’t love an e-newsletter about cleanliness with that name?
